We cannot forget our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ whom have given us the wisdom to overcome anything .

John 4: 28-29 “The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to men, Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Messiah?
The woman that came to Jacob’s Well, came at a time different from other woman, all alone, expecting to go away with natural water.
She never expected to meet with Jesus at the well. For this woman, coming to the well was emotionally exhausting. It would mean that she meet with people that thought of themselves as holy and beyond rebuke. Don’t we have such in our present society.
After much conversation with Jesus, she learnt that Jesus can give her “Living Water,” water that will quench her thirst forever. Her thirst of wanting to be recognized in society as moral and excepted.
The moment she identified Jesus as a ‘Prophet’, was the moment she excepted that her reason for coming to the well was less important. She left her waterpot behind, went into the city to tell all the people to “Come and see a man which told me all things that I ever did: is not this the Messiah?”
What are some of the lessons we can learn from leaving our waterpots behind?
For too long, many of us have been holding on to our waterpots. It is time that we left them behind to pursue our god-given mandate as believers who truly love the Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Father, help me to leave behind my waterpot and pursue the urgent call I received in contributing to the Kingdom’s Call. May I go into towns, cities, and countries to tell people of the coming Messiah. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be disgraced; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more. For your Maker is your husband, the Lord of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called. Isaiah 54.4-5
Many will know that we as the Chatsworth Baptist Church are now assisting in reviving the work at Parousia Baptist Church. Thank God for the men that started this work, it was indeed through hard work and dedication and all we want to do is continue from where they left off. Our first visit to the site was on Sunday 11/11/2013 with a few of our members. We were amazed at the condition of the surrounding as you could see from the pictures but never the less we are committed to the work of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I believe that we will work with joy in our hearts to help this work continue and all praise glory and honour will be lifted to our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ for he makes all things possible.
Thank you all for your prayerful support thus far, praise our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ that the ministry is up and running again. The first meeting was held on the 5th October 2014 at 09H00. There is much more work to be done, please continue in prayer and trust Christ for his provision in completing the building
