Stress

Nothing makes our stress levels soar higher, than the realisation that we are being disrespected and put down.

People react differently under such pressure. Some strike back angry often to their advantage.

others fearful of possible consequences allow themselves to be downtrodden. Whatever their initial reaction may be  ,victims can carry the scars and emotional trauma of their experience throughout their life

What we think influences our actions .So we need to constantly examine our own conduct and empty our minds of all  negative influences that hinder us as Christians .

We need to listen what Paul says in his letter to the Colossians: ” You are the people of God; he loved you and chose you for his own. So then, you must clothe yourselves with compassion ,kindness ,humility ,gentleness and patience .Be tolerant with one another and forgive one another when ever any of you have a complaint against someone else. You must forgive one other  just as the Lord has forgiven you.

And all these qualities add love, which binds all things together in perfect unity”

Colossians 3:12-14

John records a stressful time in Jesus life.

He is facing death. Judas is about to betray him. The humiliation and suffering on the cross lies ahead. What does Jesus say to his disciples?

“Do not be worried and upset”, Jesus told them “Believe in God and believe also in me  “

When Christ lives in our hearts and minds will our stress level go down and have joyous peace.

Father thank you in your precious name Jesus

Amen

“2015”

Looking ahead. Have you ever had that lost feeling when the road ahead seems twisted, foggy, and scary?

As we have moved into the New Year, we think of all the experiences that we faced the year before. It is time to forget about 2014 and its challenges. Look ahead!

It is time that we be joyful and realize that God’s Word never ever means differently from what is intended.

“Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: ” The Lord is my helper, I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13: 5-6)

With the promise of God’s presence and help in mind, you can move with confidence in this New Year.

The Lord Jesus Bless You All
