The Promise to the Faithful
John 15: 2
“He (Jehovah) cuts off every branch that doesn’t produce fruit, and He prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.”
- The unfaithful are threatened in comparison to the faithful.
- The faithful are rewarded with more fruit.
- Jehovah taketh away that which is superfluous, which hinders its growth and fruitfulness of the faithful.
- Don’t be disappointed by the pruning process. The pruning or purging of fruitful branches, in order to their greater fruitfulness, is the care and work of Jehovah, for His Glory.
Lesson: Faithfulness leads to fruitfulness.
