The Word of God

Romans 11:33.    “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out!”

Guard yourselves against lowering the standard of God’s Word to your level of understanding .

And also guard yourselves against raising the standards of your traditions above the standard of God’s Word.

The Bible is not meant to be paraded past the judgment bar of your mind. You can argue with it, but why?

You can pick up any other book and read it, but this is the book that reads you. It pulsates with life and power. It cuts, burns, crushes, and wields mountain-moving power.

His Word has a life of its own. It is the voice of God to you. You cannot refuse it, deny it, distort it, or dilute it. You can only bow before it.

When was the last time you studied the history behind the Word of God?

Lets ask God for wisdom and thank him in his holy name  Amen

Todays Prayer

Father, thank You for the strength I need to
overcome in every area of my life. I know that You hold the days of my life in
the palm of Your hand. I believe that You have equipped me with everything I
need for spirit, soul and body in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Children a blessing from God

Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV) Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

Children. They’re a gift and a blessing from God himself.

As parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, it’s our duty to set examples for the little ones in our lives.

Our words and, most importantly, our actions are what they see and follow. Everything we say and do gets absorbed like a sponge and then emulated.

If they see us pray, they will learn to pray. If they hear us singing praises to God, they will learn to praise God. If they hear us cussing someone out, they will learn to do the same.

We are being watched!

Knowing that our lives are examples for the little ones in our lives should give us good reason to make sure we do what is right in the eyes of God.

As they grow up, they will do what they have seen us do, so let’s set a good, godly example.

In the precious name of Jesus    Amen
