” All to you “
Isaiah 53 : 11
” When He sees all that is accomplished by His anguish, He will be satisfied. “
Life has the divine ability to pass us by without us even realising it and before we notice we ask what has happened, where has it all gone to.
For many of us there is no joy or satisfaction and we just go around living out each day. If you were asked what gives you the greatest joy or satisfaction would you be inclined to mention that it would be persistence to see something through to the very end.
One may question how did Jesus Christ possibly receive satisfaction in dying for the sins of you and I ( John 3 : 16 ) – it is because of the fact that He saw it through to the very end. There is something rewarding about crossing that finish line, which any athlete will justify, but it is even more rewarding when you actually do it for someone elses gain. If we looked at Jesus Christ and the cross what makes Him so special – it is the fact that we have seen and understand what He has done for us, His words were put into action. ( James 1 : 22 )
So today as He speaks and guides us we can openly put our faith / belief in Him for we see the evidence of Him first doing it. When He speaks about forgiveness, love, doing good, we can listen attentively for Jesus Christ has already displayed those characteristics unto us. Let us embrace Jesus Christ in our lives, let us live by His satisfaction that if we are to search for life, joy, provision and all of the other things we may desire then all we really have to do is seek Christ.
James 4 : 8 says ” draw near to me and I ( God ) will draw near to you “ – begin to feel His love as He calls out to you to come just a little bit closer so that you may feel His hand upon you.
Heavenly Father you are the Lord of our lives and we stand in unison with you and your word. Thank you for sending your Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins – may we understand the depth of that love for us and may it not just be words spoken. Father God I pray that you will take control of our lives, we commit our ways to you Lord that you may straighten our paths and lead us to the righteous way of living. May all signs of greed, animosity, anger and evil thoughts be rebuked in the precious name of Jesus Christ and may our hearts be filled with His love, joy, peace and forgiveness. Be with us now Lord, cover our lives and your word with the Mighty Blood of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.
Amen.
